Queer Hockey
Join the Fun at South Shore Queer Hockey’s First Event!
We’re excited to announce that our friends at South Shore Queer Hockey are hosting their very FIRST event, and we want YOU to be there!
Come out for a night of friendly hockey with a welcoming and inclusive community! Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, this is all about having fun, meeting new people, and supporting the queer sports community.
Date: March 18
Location: Lunenburg Memorial Arena
All skill levels welcome!
Must bring gloves and a stick for scrimmage
Arena requires all skaters to wear a helmet

Silent Book Club
Silent Book Club returns to The Barn in Bridgewater on March 20th.

Queer Connections
We are so excited for queer joy, pizza, and AMAZING tunes. You want to be at Fancy Pants Cafe in Bridgewater on March 21st from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM during their awesome Pizza Night!
Lunenburg County Pride will be purchasing 10 FREE pizzas to share, so come hungry and ready to connect! Pizza's will be staggered coming out of the oven to ensure everyone get's to enjoy the delicious food.
If you want to have your own pizza, feel free to call Fancy Pants Cafe ahead of time to order and just make sure to mention that it’s for the Queer Connections event.
Fancy Pants Cafe will also be open for take-out pizza during the event, so if you can't stay or are a regular pizza night fan, come by to grab a slice or two for yourself!
Diet restrictions? Fancy Pants has gluten free crust, vegetarian, and vegan options!
Featured Performer: Freya Milliken She is an award-winning singer-songwriter known for her heartfelt songs, dynamic songwriting style, and intimate musical delivery.

Flag Raising for Two Spirit Celebration and Awareness Day
Two-Spirit is a pan-Indigenous term that was created in to start the process of reclaiming nation and cultural specific terms of identity amongst Indigenous groups on Turtle Island. Two Spirit Celebration and Awareness Day is celebrated on the Spring Equinox each year.
Come celebrate Two Spirit Celebration and Awareness day in Nova Scotia. On March 21 at 11 am, the Wabanaki Two Spirit Alliance will host a flag raising at Province House.

As part of our ongoing commitment to building an inclusive community, Lunenburg County Pride is excited to present to municipal units on the critical importance of allyship. Allyship is more than just standing alongside—it’s about actively supporting the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in meaningful, lasting ways.
In these presentations, we will explore how individuals and municipalities can play a pivotal role in creating safer, more welcoming spaces for all residents. By committing to allyship, we help foster environments where diversity is celebrated, and every individual is seen, heard, and respected. Trans Day of Visibility Yoga and Social
The world is a heavy place these days. Let's come together in a safer space and celebrate being gender diverse.
What's the plan? Do some movement and meditation for a hour, followed by chats and a hang out for those who want to stick around.
Where? The Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre in the Active Living Studio.
This is for folks who are gender diverse. Spots are limited so please email mwrightyoga@gmail.com to secure a spot.
This is PWYC and proceeds will go to Petite Queer Pride.
Please bring a mat if you are able. We will have a few extra for those who need. Bring any cozy's for meditation time.
